When operations commenced in 1990, Retouche was a small-scale company that offered shop-fitting systems. Two years later, Retouche scaled new heights in business on par with the growth of the Dubai market and the following year saw the opening of the Retouche factory for wood supplies.
Retouche moved to bigger premises in Salahuddin Street, Deira in 1996 to accommodate the needs of a business that grew phenomenally. It is from this location that Retouche operates its cluster of companies; three companies that handle supply trading, and two, which are industrial.
Retouche Trading LLC is an export/ import operation of shop fittings for boutiques, shops, department stores, showrooms, Supermarkets and all retail outlets. Retouche showcases the best of an array of products like aluminium counters, wall units, mannequins, hangers, shelving systems for supermarkets, trolleys, baskets, check-out counters, electronic gates and an endless list of other fitting items.
Retouche ( Lights ) offers an assorted choice of lighting for shops and showrooms. Retouche Furniture Industry LLC, located in Sharjah, is where the company manufacturers wooden items for use within shopfittings, aluminium, modification of steel and all acrylic stands.
Retouche Group has grown from a 500 sq ft working area to 175,000 sq ft operating area today, in the course of the past 18 years of its operation. Today, the company employs more than 175 personnel.
The company accords it's success to Dr Kamel Morkos, for his vision and continued service excellence. The Lebanese owner and founder of Retouche, has spent his childhood in South Lebanon, grew up in Beirut and moved to the Czech Republic to study Civil Engineering and obtain a doctorate in Civil Engineering.
He worked in Beirut as Professor of Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering, offering consultancy services for construction companies. The Lebanese Civil War drew him to the Emirates and he has resided here ever since. After three years in the Emirates as a consultant in the design and supervision area, he launched Retouche in 1990.
Today, with pride and pleasure, the company announces its operating services to the whole of the UAE, GCC, Middle East & North Africa, Russia, India, Pakistan and Afghanistan and other countries.
